“The Sleep Edit” Trailer
There are a lot of tired parents struggling with their kids' sleep. And the thing is, it doesn't need to be that way. I'm a firm believer that every child and parent deserves a good night of sleep. I'm doctor Craig Canaperry. I'm a pediatric sleep doctor and author of It's Never Too Late to Sleep Train, the Low Stress Way to High Quality Sleep for Babies, Kids and Parents.
Speaker 1:I'm a parent since 2007, and I've been writing online about pediatric sleep issues since 2012, which means in internet years that I'm approximately 100 years old, which is in alignment with how old my kids think that I am. In my day job, I direct a Yale Pediatric Sleep Center. On The Sleep Edit, my new podcast, I'm partnering with my friend Ariel Greenleaf to tackle common parent questions about sleep, such as, why does my kid wake up at night? Is crying it out safe? How do I wean my baby at night?
Speaker 1:Should my child take melatonin? Our goal is to cut through all the noise about sleep and empower you to make changes if you need to and to feel confident if you don't. This is a podcast for parents, pediatricians, educators, and anyone who is interested in the science of sleep in children. We also are going to have some great guests on to talk about sleep issues in children of all ages, including parents, and the science of sleep in general. Some great sleepers are born, others are made.
Speaker 1:So let's make your child a great sleeper.
